Helen Cross, has just published her first book, ‘Grow, Cook, Inspire’, and is passionate about food, horticulture, and farming. She is driven to encourage more communities and families to grow and cook their own to uncover the health and environmental benefits that come from gardening and cooking seasonally.
With a history of her own mental health problems for over 20 years, Helen has sought solace in her green space, and recognises the power that gardening, and nature can have to help people both physically and mentally.
In between gardening, cooking, and writing, Helen hosts the podcast, ‘Grow, Cook, Inspire’, and teaches children through a local gardening club, to garden, grow, cook, and be a little more wild.
‘Grow, Cook, Inspire’ is available to buy here: https://www.growcookinspire.com/store/p/grow-cook-inspire-book, and you can follow Helen on Instagram @grow_cook_inspire.
